Forest Moon Bed & Breakfast: The Innkeepers
Forest Moon Innkeepers, Lenny & Carol

Leonard (Lenny) and Carol Anderson bought Forest Moon B&B in January 2009, moving to the area from Central Illinois after Lenny retired from a life in theater management.

Lenny had lived in the Black Hills of South Dakota, managing the Black Hills Playhouse, prior to moving to Sullivan, Illinois where he lived for 20 years and was the Executive Director of The Little Theatre On The Square. He always missed the trees and hills of the Black Hills and is glad to be back in the wonderful natural environment in Northern Wisconsin.

Carol came to the Hayward area many times over the last 40 years, first with her friend Moe and then with her family after her parents purchased a cabin on Lac Courte Oreilles. She is also thrilled to call the Northwoods home.

Carol's professional life has been varied, moving mostly between art and education. She has taught grade school and basic skills to adults, been a college administrator and education director at a children's museum and she has been a professional photographer, owning her own photography studio and art gallery, and has managed other galleries.

Although they are new to Bed and Breakfast hosting and management, Carol and Lenny believe their varied experiences in other endeavors will allow them to provide an interesting and rewarding experience to their guests. They are also anxious to become active in some of the area's outdoor sports such as bicycling, skiing and snow shoeing and in the rich artistic and cultural aspects of the Hayward/Cable area.
